Am I Deceived?
Matthew 24:6-8 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains.
Matthew 24:3-4 As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”
Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you.
Deception is the most obvious sign that we are at the end of the age.
Ezekiel 28:12-13, 14-15 “‘You were the seal of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. You were in Eden, the garden of God… You were anointed as a guardian cherub, for so I ordained you. You were on the holy mount of God; you walked among the fiery stones. You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created till wickedness was found in you.
God created Satan with two things: full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.
v. 17 Your heart became proud on account of your beauty, and you corrupted your wisdom because of your splendor.
Matthew 23:27-28 “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean. In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness.
The heart of Satan’s kingdom is looking beautiful and righteous on the outside but being wicked on the inside.
Satan has been building a world system that he wants to use to unite the whole world under his dominion and oppression and God has called it Babylon.
Revelation 17:1 One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the punishment of the great prostitute, who sits by many waters.
Revelation 17:15 Then the angel said to me, “The waters you saw, where the prostitute sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations and languages.
Daniel 1:1,3 Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came to Jerusalem and besieged it…. Then the king ordered Ashpenaz, chief of his court officials, to bring into the king’s service some of the Israelites from the royal family and the nobility— young men without any physical defect, handsome, showing aptitude for every kind of learning, well informed, quick to understand, and qualified to serve in the king’s palace.
The first thing Babylon looked for was beauty.
I Samuel 16:1, 6-7 The Lord said to Samuel, “How long will you mourn for Saul, since I have rejected him as king over Israel? Fill your horn with oil and be on your way; I am sending you to Jesse of Bethlehem. I have chosen one of his sons to be king…” When they arrived, Samuel saw Eliab and thought, “Surely the Lord’s anointed stands here before the Lord.”
But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
God doesn’t look at the outside; He looks on the inside-your heart and your character.
Isaiah 53:2 He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.
2 Kings 14:25 In all Israel there was not a man so highly praised for his handsome appearance as Absalom. From the top of his head to the sole of his foot there was no blemish in him.
2 Kings 15:2-6 He would get up early and stand by the side of the road leading to the city gate. Whenever anyone came with a complaint to be placed before the king for a decision, Absalom would call out to him, “What town are you from?” He would answer, “Your servant is from one of the tribes of Israel.” Then Absalom would say to him, “Look, your claims are valid and proper, but there is no representative of the king to hear you.” And Absalom would add, “If only I were appointed judge in the land! Then everyone who has a complaint or case could come to me and I would see that they receive justice.”
Also, whenever anyone approached him to bow down before him, Absalom would reach out his hand, take hold of him and kiss him. Absalom behaved in this way toward all the Israelites who came to the king asking for justice, and so he stole the hearts of the people of Israel.
In America, we have a spirit of Absalom that rules over our nation and it is part of Satan’s spirit of deception.
I Kings 18:4 Jezebel was killing off the Lord’s prophets
I Kings 21:25 (There was never anyone like Ahab, who sold himself to do evil in the eyes of the Lord, urged on by Jezebel his wife)
Hear the word of the Lord concerning Jezebel. The Lord says: ‘Dogs will devour Jezebel by the wall of Jezreel.’
2 Kings 9:30 Then Jehu went to Jezreel. When Jezebel heard about it, she put on eye makeup, arranged her hair and looked out of a window.
Satan believes that he can get the church to vote for godless political leaders because of their outside.
Revelation 13:11,14 Then I saw a second beast, coming out of the earth. It had two horns like a lamb, but it spoke like a dragon…. it deceived the inhabitants of the earth.
Matthew 24:24 For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.
2 Thessalonians 2:9-10 The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.
Deception is the perfect blend of good and evil to the point that you can no longer detect the evil.
Satan blends good and evil together so that when you combat evil, you also become an enemy of the good that is bundled together with it.
We have swallowed so much evil that was encapsulated in good that we have capitulated to an environment and a nation that is unbiblical.
Satan’s first agenda point was to redefine what a man is and what a woman is.
In Connecticut in 2018, a girls high school track meet included a winner and a runner-up who had formerly competed as males. Naturally, they were bigger, faster and stronger than the girls in the girls’ competition
CeCe Telfer, a muscular transgender woman who the previous year competed on Franklin Pierce University’s men’s track team as Craig Telfer, won the 2019 NCAA Division II 400 meter hurdles championship, crushing the seven other born-and-raised female finalists.
Lia Thomas, who as 6-foot-1 William Thomas swimming for the Penn men’s team, was just an also-swam, won the 2022 Division I women’s 500-yard freestyle championship.
The suicide attempt rate among transgender persons ranges from 32% to 50% across the countries.
82% of transgender individuals have considered killing themselves and 40% have attempted suicide, with suicidality highest among transgender youth.
Satan’s second agenda point was to redefine what marriage is.
A recent study of over 5,000 obituaries in gay papers showed the average age of death for gay men from all causes to be 41 years old.
Homosexuals account for 80% of the serious sexually transmitted disease in the United States.
CDC: Homosexual men account for 61% of new HIV infections but only 2% of population.
Gay men are six times more likely to have attempted suicide than straight men.
One study showed that between 25 and 33% of homosexual men and women are alcoholics (the national average is 7%).
Violence is much higher in homosexual relationships than in heterosexual ones.
Children raised by homosexual parents are documented in study after study to be more apt to experience gender and sexual confusion; they are more apt to become promiscuous; they are at greater risk of losing a parent to AIDS, substance abuse or suicide.
Compared with children raised by their married biological parents, children of homosexual parents:
-Are much more likely to have received welfare (3 to 4 times as much)
-Have lower educational attainment
-Report less safety and security in their family of origin
-Report more ongoing "negative impact" from their family of origin
-Are more likely to suffer from depression
-Have been arrested more often
-If they are female, have had more sexual partners--both male and female.
Satan’s last agenda point is to redefine what money is.
On March 9, 2022, President Biden signed an “Executive Order on Ensuring Responsible Development of Digital Assets,” or EO-14067
2 Thessalonians 2:10 all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.
