2 Corinthians 9:8-9,11 And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all
times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. As it is written: “They have
freely scattered their gifts to the poor; their righteousness endures forever.” You will be
enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your
generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.
Everything that God does on this planet He does through promises to us.
2 Peter 1:3-4 His divine power has given us everything we need for life… he has given us his
very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature
Every promise is activated by faith.
Romans 4:16 Therefore, the promise comes by faith
Galatians 3:14 He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the
Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.
Hebrews 6:12 We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and
patience receive what has been promised.
God cannot simply intervene in your life just because He wants to.
Psalm 115:16 The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s; But the earth He has given to the
children of men
Genesis 1:26 Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they
may rule…
Faith is being fully persuaded that God will do what He said He will do and this is what
gives God the legal right to partner in your life.
Romans 4:20-21 Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was
strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do
what he had promised.
God took the first step to a breakthrough of His power in your life by sending His Son to
die for you.
Hebrews 8:6 the covenant of which Jesus is mediator is superior to the old one, since the new
covenant is established on better promises.
John 19:28-30 Later, knowing that everything had now been finished… Jesus said, “It is
finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
God has already done everything He is going to do concerning your needs, your pain, and
your healing.
1 Peter 2:24 and He Himself bore (past tense) our sins in His body on the cross, so that we
might die (conditional present tense) to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you
were healed (past tense).
2 Peter 1:3-4 His divine power has granted (past tense) to us everything pertaining to life and
godliness…
For by these He has granted (past tense) to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by
them you may become (conditional present tense) partakers of the divine nature,
2 Corinthians 1:20 For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ.
And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.
The covenant is finished, everything you need has already been deposited for you to
receive.
Isaiah 9:6-7 For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be
upon His shoulder… of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end,
So our first step to breakthrough is to find a promise from our covenant.
Mark 4:3,14 “Listen to this! Behold, the sower went out to sow… The sower sows the word.
Our second step is to take that promise, meditate on it, speak it and faith for that promise
will grow in our mind like a seed does in the ground.
Psalm 103:2-3 Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits— who forgives all your
sins and heals all your diseases
Mark 4:26-29 And He was saying, “The kingdom of God is like a man who casts seed upon the
soil; and he goes to bed at night and gets up by day, and the seed sprouts and grows—how, he
himself does not know. The soil produces crops by itself; first the blade, then the head, then the
mature grain in the head. But when the crop permits, he immediately puts in the sickle, because
the harvest has come.”
Our mind is the soil that our faith in that promise grows in. God is telling us that if you
Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it
day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you
will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success.
Matthew 13:19 When anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil
one comes and snatches away what has been sown in his heart. This is the one on whom seed
was sown beside the road.
I John 5:14-15 This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything
according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we
know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.
Matthew 13:20-21 The one on whom seed was sown on the rocky places, this is the man who
hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; yet he has no firm root in himself, but is
only temporary, and when affliction or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he
falls away.
Mark 4:18-19 And others are the ones on whom seed was sown among the thorns; these are the
ones who have heard the word, but the worries of the world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and
the desires for other things enter in and choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.
Mark 4:30-32 Again he said, “What shall we say the kingdom of God is like, or what parable
shall we use to describe it? It is like a mustard seed, which is the smallest of all seeds on earth.
Yet when planted, it grows and becomes the largest of all garden plants
The soil produces crops by itself; first the blade, then the head, then the mature grain in the
head. But when the crop permits, he immediately puts in the sickle, because the harvest has
come.”
Step Three: After meditating on God’s seed (word/promise), and it has grown inside you
and all other thoughts to the contrary are gone, it is at this stage that you are fully
persuaded that God will do what He said. Your faith is ready to receive your promise.
Romans 4:20-21 Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was
strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do
what he had promised.
Step Four: When we are fully persuaded of God’s promise, only now are we ready to pray
the prayer of faith and receive the promise.
Mark 11:24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received
it, and it will be yours.
Genesis 1:2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep,
and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
2 Chronicles 16:9 For the eyes of the Lord move to and fro throughout the earth so that He may
support those whose heart is completely His.
Psalm 103:20 Bless the Lord, O you his angels, you mighty ones who do his bidding, obedient to
his spoken word.
Romans 16:20 The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet.
Matthew 11:12 the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and violent men take it by force.
